Randall Manor
HISTORY
A prestigious neighborhood located on the North Shore of Staten Island. Most of this neighborhood was completed prior to the opening of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge in 1964. This wonderful area was named after a sea captain Robert Richard Randall who was the founder of Sailors Snug Harbor. Randall Manor is a beautiful enclave surrounded by stately homes full of Character, charm and history. The streets are lined with mature trees in this quiet and pleasant area. This prime sought after location has the advantage of being located near stores, transit, the St. George Ferry and a local hospital and many points of interest. Over the years Randall Manor has remained one of the most desirable neighborhoods on Staten Island.

PARKS
Allison Pond Park: Located at Prospect Avenue, N Randall Avenue and Brentwood Ave consists of 9 acres, a brook runs through the park, a beautiful park with a pedestrian bridge and a lovely fountain. It also has a dog run and a walking trail. This park was originally part of Sailors Snug Harbor.
Walker Park: located at Bard and Davis Ave: Cricket tennis courts, softball field, football, soccer, children’s playground and equipment.
Silver Lake Park: Located at Victory Blvd., Clove Rd and Forest Ave. 209 acres of beautiful open space. Baseball, basketball, football fields, 18- hole golf course, trails, playground, spray showers, tennis courts, and soccer fields.
Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Park, Located: Richmond Terrace, Tysen St, Kissel, Henderson. Originally an asylum for retired seaman. In the 1960’s the sailors were relocated to North Carolina. Sailors Snug Harbor was purchased by the city of New York. The Cultural Center and Park opened to the public in 1976. It consists of five Greek revival buildings facing the water. Botanical garden, Chinese Scholars garden, The Children’s museum, Art Lab, Newhouse Center for Contempary Art, Music Hall, Butterfly garden, greenhouse, mini castle, miniature hedge maze and much more.
